Bio

Drew Simpson is an established jazz musician with an impressive resume. He has performed with well known musicians including Eddie Marshall, Chuck Loeb, Llew Matthews, Wilton Felder, Terence Blanchard, Big Black, The Banda Brothers, Will Donato, and more. Drew performs a variety of styles including straight-ahead, contemporary, R&B and latin. He has performed at various events and venues including Catalina Bar & Grill, House of Blues, Spaghettini’s, Humphrey’s in San Diego, the Jazz Bakery. He has also made appearances in Long Beach, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and multiple Temecula Jazz Festivals.

As a successful guitarist, Simpson's 2012 debut Album Noteworthy features an array of talented performers, original compositions, and Drew’s expressive guitar playing. In 2018, Drew released his second album Come Home which builds on the story he began in Noteworthy. In Come Home Simpson features his straight-ahead jazz roots and features many accomplished musicians in the jazz community.
